IAN BENJAMIN

Born and raised in Ohio, he first fell in love with Billy Joel’s music in high school after smuggling his parents’ The Complete Hits 4-CD set out of the house, and listening to them in his car with his best friend. Since then, Ian has traveled to over 50 countries and two dozen states as a full-time professional singer and pianist. Billy’s songbook has been a constant presence in each phase of his career: he spent eight years entertaining on luxury cruise ships after auditioning with “New York State of Mind,” his headline concert Ten Grand begins with “My Life,” and as a dueling pianist, he loves to close out a show with “Piano Man.” He now owns Queen City Keys, a live music and entertainment business, with his wife Eva, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ian looks forward to sharing the incredible songs and stories in Billy Joel Legacy with audiences across the country – fronting this show is truly a dream come true.
